For us, TYPO3 is not just a system. It is part of a large ecosystem that is supported by an active community. Anyone who works with TYPO3 on a daily basis knows that stability, further development and lively communities don't just happen by themselves.

A good community is created when people take responsibility. That's why Jens Krumm is running for the board of the TYPO3 Association.

Not for a title. But out of a deep connection and commitment to the TYPO3 community.

Our candidate: Always under discussion for TYPO3

It's about the substance

The TYPO3 Association creates the organizational framework for the community and the TYPO3 product. Decisions made there influence key issues for everyone who works with TYPO3:

  • What priorities are set in the product roadmap?
  • How are certifications developing?
  • How visible are partners in the market?
  • How strong are the community, events and international groups?

When people like Jens from the daily TYPO3 practice are represented on the board, decisions are made that remain close to the community and its real requirements.

This benefits everyone who uses, develops or works with TYPO3.

Part of the community

Jens Krumm is a real TYPO3 veteran and has been part of the TYPO3 community for many years. He supports TYPO3 events, is involved in the exchange with international communities and is particularly committed to making TYPO3 internationally visible.

As CEO of +Pluswerk, he has been working in the digital technology environment since the 1990s and is now responsible for teams in several European countries. He would now like to contribute the organizational experience he has gained to the TYPO3 Association.

The Krumm Contract

Three clear commitments. No empty phrases.

1. Transparency & Member Value
The members of the TYPO3 Association support the project. They deserve clarity:

• What was decided?
• Why was it decided?
• What does it mean for the community?

🤞🏽 The goal is a TYPO3 membership with tangible added value in everyday life.
2. Pragmatism instead of navel-gazing
Board work means organization, communication and responsibility.

• Strategy must not be an end in itself
• Clear priorities are important
• Implementation is crucial

✅ Better 80% properly implemented than 100% announced and not delivered.
3. Bridge between practice and board
TYPO3 lives from its community. And their perspectives belong on the board.

• from contributors
• from freelancers
• from users

💬 For real feedback between the community and decision-makers.

Strong product. Strong community. A strong foundation for TYPO3

The task of the board is clearly defined - association organization and representation. To ensure that TYPO3 remains successful in the long term, the following points are crucial:

  • clean processes throughout the association
  • active member management
  • Stronger European communities
  • a clear external perception of TYPO3
  • Responsible financial planning

TYPO3 is a powerful enterprise CMS - supported by a unique community. We want to secure this and develop it further.
