Brand building
A complete overhaul of the digital brand identity - +Pluswerk realized this goal for the university's web relaunch. Despite highly individual requirements, the online presence is based on the platform of the innovative TYPO3 metaportal of the state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. This technical basis is used by a large number of educational institutions in the state and still allows the development of visually independent websites. In addition to Stralsund, the universities of Wismar and Neubrandenburg, the universities of Greifswald and Rostock, as well as the Wissenschaftskolleg Greifswald and the Hochschule für Musik und Theater are united under the umbrella of the joint solution developed by +Pluswerk.
As the last university under the joint portal umbrella for the time being, Stralsund benefited from the large number of existing modules. An enormous time advantage: only 5 months passed from the branding process to the logo, CD and CI development and CI/CD to the implementation of the modern website. The metaportal is practical because everyone uses the same TYPO3 instance. Maintenance and further development costs are shared.

Concept & Design
New name - new look - independent brand strategy. +Pluswerk took on this challenge in close coordination with the client. Using modern moderation techniques, the entire university community was involved. All stakeholders were thus optimally integrated into the design process. The result is not only a concise new appearance - including a style guide for print and web. The website was also given a visually independent character in line with the new brand profile.
