Expert Speakers 🎤

Stefan Priebsch

Topic: Why Clean Code Matters

Clean code is not a question of style, but the basis for maintainable and scalable software. What does ‘clean code’ really mean - and how do you implement it in everyday life? In his session, Stefan Priebsch will demonstrate three central principles using concrete before-and-after examples. The focus is on practical aha-moments rather than theory. Whether with Pimcore, Symfony or PHP: You'll go home with clear insights and fresh motivation for better code.

Alexander M. Turek

Topic: Deep Dive into Symfony's Dependency Injection Component

The Dependency Injection component acts as the glue that holds our application together. In a modern Symfony application, auto-wiring, auto-configuration and auto-discovery are used to generate the correct dependency tree. But how do these processes work behind the scenes? What would happen if they weren’t there?

The speaker

Alexander M. Turek is a freelance software developer and member of the Symfony Core Team. After studying computer science at KIT, he specialised in Symfony, Doctrine and open source projects. Today, he supports various companies in modernising their software.
